New music from Spill Your Guts

If hardcore rock’s your thing (it’s always somebody’s thing), here’s a new offering from Shanghai band Spill Your Guts.

I always like straight edged hardcore bands like Spill Your Guts, because they’re super rough on stage, but then offstage they just like to hangout and drink Suntory (and not that fancy Premium Suntory, either) and just generally be decent people.

SYG already has an EP out there, but will be releasing new material on a split EP with another hardcore band this spring.

You can catch them Saturday night at Mao Livehouse, opening for hardcore punk rock band The Casualties, which is kind of a big deal. Special treat: Spill Your Guts will also be filming a live music video during their set. Should be fun.
