If you’re a musician, please please please check out this excellent article by Ari Herstand about why no one is coming to your shows. Poor attendance is the perennial problem for new bands (and frankly, many established bands as well). I’m someone who goes to a lot of shows. Like, A LOT. We’re talking a lot of shows. And every single one of Herstand’s points is spot on, from the perspective as both as an audience member and as someone who works in the media.
