The 2nd Annual Lone Star Beer Heritage Festival featuring performances from Shovels & Rope, Okkervil River, Girl in a Coma, and Matthew Logan Vasquez. The show benefits Feeding Texas. 6:00pm @ Stubb’s, $10 (Editor’s note: This is an amazingly good price for these bands & you’d be a fool not to go).

Friday, 7/1/16

Check out Austin-ish musician Will Courtney at his CD release party. Also with JD Clark, John Welsey Coleman, and Siberian Traps. 9:00pm @ Hotel Vegas.

If it’s Sunday night it’s The Resentments time. Also with Deann Rene and John Gaar. Come early and catch the openers. 3:00pm @ The Saxon Pub, $10.

The Bernie Bash: Independence Day Edition. Are you sad about Bernie? Come to this, work out your issues, and then get behind Clinton come November because you don’t want to see anarchy in the streets. With Izzy Cox, Bango Skank, New Mystery Girl, Robert Segovia and Mac Blake.
