Friday, July 15:
A chance to catch 3 Austin bands on one bill: The Nightowls EP Release, with Magna Carda, and Cari Q. The Nightowls and Magna Carda and two bands gaining a lot of buzz right now in Austin. 7:00pm @ the Historic Scoot Inn, $15.
Saturday, July 16:
Try and see cool (and weird) conceptual band Ghostland Observatory. 7:30pm @ the Whitewater Music Amphitheater, prices vary.
If that’s not your scene, you’ve also got Ruby & the Reckless Rainbow Video Release, along with MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR, and Smile. 8:00pm @ the Historic Scoot Inn, $10.
Sunday, July 17:
For Queens of the Stone Age fans: a celebration of their music with members of Austin bands Megafauna, The Midnight Stroll, Black Books and more. 7:00pm @ the Mohawk Austin, $6.
Or, some garage rock to finish out the week: The Bad Lovers with San Antonio band The Bolos. 7:00pm @ Hotel Vegas.
